Pavle.com.au has done it again, this time with Australian exclusive spy photos of the next generation 2014 Holden VF Commodore.
While little it known at this stage about the car and engines we can expect, we know for certain the first vehicle pictured is an entry level Omega. The second vehicle is an SV6 or SS variant.
Sources inside Holden suggest that the Australian car maker is attempting to stylize the VF Commodore with LED running lights and other cosmetic bling.
We know that the car will feature light weight aluminium construction around the front end, along with electric steering. The car is also likely to pick up blind spot monitors and keyless entry and start.
In the mean time, head to The Motor Report, who have exclusive rights to the video.

Our spy photographer has snapped photos of the 2011 Ford Falcon Series 2.
Although the photos were taken from a distance, it’s quite clear that the car-bra clad Falcon is hiding a front-end minor restyle.
Judging by the lack of car-bra at the rear of the vehicle, it’s likely that it’s only the front that will receive the remodel.
The second shot shows what looks like slightly more flare on the front wheel arches.
Pavle.com.au will keep you posted as more information comes to hand. At this stage, the Series 2 of the FG Falcon is likely to be released close to the end of the year to coincide with the release of the EcoBoost engine range.

As seen with our recent post revealing the 2011 Ford Ranger Cab Chassis, similar images of the Mazda BT-50 variant in cab chassis form have been spied.
Due for release later in 2011, the locally engineered global Mazda BT-50 utility release is gather momentum.
Seen here are spy photos (computer generated images) of the Mazda BT-50 Cab Chassis. This option will be available to buyers who will engineer their own trays.
The advantages of engineering your own tray are the ability to customise the tray’s size and dimensions, along with manufacturing your own enclosure.

In a move set to thrust two of Australia’s largest marques forward in terms of technology and efficiency, Holden and Ford are on the brink of announcing the plans for their liquid injected LPG products.
To get the ball rolling, Holden is set to release its ‘eco’ branded LPG system (also wearing the same named badge) to market in each of the following variants, including the new Equipe special edition:
- Equipe (entry level special edition)
- Omega
- SV6
- Berlina
- Calais
- Calais V
- Caprice
- Caprice V
- Commodore Ute
Holden’s liquid injected LPG system will only be available on the 3.6-litre V6 engine and will only be available with a six-speed automatic transmission. Power output of the system is expected to be around 178kW with maximum power reduced at a lower 6000rpm, with fuel economy reduced to around 10.5L/100km. The extra weight of the tank and accessories will be close to 55kg.
In the other corner of the ring, Ford’s system is expected to pack a heartier punch. Wearing an ‘EcoLPi’ badge, Ford’s liquid injected LPG system will produce 195kW (equal to the petrol powered Falcon), with maximum power produced at 6000rpm. Fuel consumption is also set to drop to around 10.5L/100km, making LPG a viable option for consumers.
Ford’s liquid injected LPG system is also expected to be available across the range (except turbocharged variants).

With Holden’s all new 2011 Captiva 5 and 7 just around the corner (to be launched to the media mid-February), Pavle.com.au has snapped a Captiva 5 undergoing final preparations prior to the launch.
The images show that the front fog lights have moved higher up the bumper bar and the tail lights have received a minor re-shape.
The interior appears to remain fairly similar to the outgoing Captiva 5. The majority of the changes reside under the bonnet.
The biggest news is the addition of a diesel powertrain for the Captiva 5, more on this later though.
One of the Captiva 5’s biggest complains has always been the lack of power available from the petrol engine. The revised 2.4-litre four-cylinder petrol engine gets a 20kW power boost to 123kW, with a higher revving engine. The new engine also brings with it a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission.
Seating remains at a five passenger capacity.
The new diesel engine is a 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produces 135kW. The Captiva 5 will remain front wheel drive only for petrol variants and will only be available in all-wheel-drive in the single diesel variant. The diesel variant will also only be available with a six-speed automatic transmission.
Additionally, the Captiva 7 will receive the same engine, but will also receive a beefed up 3.0-litre naturally aspirated V6 petrol engine. The .2-litre reduction in engine capacity yields added power, with 30kW gained, boosting power levels to 190kW.

HSV’s E Series 3 Grange has been leaked to Pavle.com.au and our CGI artist has been hard at work putting together the final product.
In addition to a new high-spec interior developed by Siemens VDO in Australia, the HSV Grange E Series 3 is possibly going to receive automatic parking, similar to that seen in the Volkswagen and Lexus range of vehicles.
If the spy photos are anything to go by, the prototype test vehicle is using the technology. Whether it makes its way onto the final product is a different question, though.
Additional changes to the HSV Grange E Series 3 include an up-rated engine. The Grange will now be powered by the same 325kW, 6.2-litre V8 LS3 engine as seen fitted to the E Series 2 GTS.
Other exterior changes include a new front and rear bar, new wheels and LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs).
Expect to see the HSV Grange E Series 3 released at this year’s Sydney International Motor Show.

While sources at Holden initially said the next Holden Commodore refresh would be called the Holden VF Commodore, Holden has gone with Holden Commodore VE Series 2, or Holden Commodore VE2 for short.
The Series 2 range of Holden Commodores will see minor styling changes, including new headlights and a revised boot. The interior will also receive a remake, with Siemens VDO in charge of the new touch screen display that will feature across the range.
Although Pavle.com.au can’t reveal its original images or their source, we have had our CGI artist knock up carbon copies of the Holden Commodore VE Series 2 in Omega, Berlina and SS V-Series form.
These pictures give you a great idea of what the new model looks like and what to expect when it’s launched in the coming months.
Stay tuned for images of the 2011 HSV E Series 3 Grange, which Pavle.com.au has exclusive images and details of.

Pavle.com.au has snapped exclusive spy photographs of Ford’s 2011 Ford Territory testing.
The most intriguing part of the photographs is the inclusion of a EcoBoost Ford Territory test vehicle. While Ford refuses to comment on whether the vehicle will be released when the updated Territory is launched, it’s great to see they’re testing the waters with the small capacity technology.
Updated spy photographs include pictures of the Territory’s new rear end, which was delayed due to supplier problems.
